Chalk Art

Hey Lovelies!

So my body decided to rebel against all the stress I was putting onto it and it got sick. NOT FUN. So this week was not the best. In fact it was pretty much the worst. Missions are hard people. I'm not gonna sugarcoat it. When I wasn't sleeping we did our best to find and to teach. All I can tell you is SHARE THE GOSPEL. We are desperate to find people to teach and our mission has put our finding efforts on our members. We visited 7 families this week and we got 1 of the 3 usual excuses, "All my friends are already Mormon", "All our neighbors just keep to themselves", or "We gave a Book of Mormon to a friend 20 years ago, our missionary work is done!" No people, no!!! There are no sufficient excuses for not sharing the gospel. Our Heavenly Father has blessed us with the gospel so we can be instruments in His hands, name tag or no name tag. So help a sister out, and make some new friends and refer them to the missionaries okay? Okay. Rant over. (mikedrop)

We did have some miracles happen this week! We've been at the end of our rope on how to find so one day we decided to go to the park and draw out the plan of salvation with sidewalk chalk. We didn't really find anyone by it but it started some conversations! We shared a video on FB so if you friend Sis. Bobbitt you can see it.

We also finally had a lesson with our investigator Lynda! It was AMAZING. She has been having some health problems so I had asked her before if she wanted to have a priesthood blessing and she agreed. So during the lesson the elders came by with a member to give her a blessing. The spirit was so strong and she absolutely loved it! She said she felt so much better afterwards. We taught her the Restoration lesson and she said that she had learned more than she had in 10 years going to church and had answered a lot of her questions! We invited her to baptism and she said she'd pray about it. She was all set to come to church, but didn't show :( Pray that she is okay!

We had another cool experience tracting this week. We are allowed to stay out until 9 pm. We had just got out of an active member lesson around 8 pm and were trying to decide what to do next. An apartment complex we pass by frequently appeared in my head so we decided to try it. We found 2 potentials and 1 new investigator with 3 minutes till 9! This may seem like small numbers to you, but to us it meant everything!

And finally this morning we received a text from someone in the Roxboro ward who installed a security system in someone's home in our area and was sending us to go see themHeavenly Father answers prayers.

To all my return missionary family members, send me some good mission stories! In case you are in need of my address: 227 Highgate Cir. Wake Forest, NC 27587 :)

I love ya'll
